Hey everyone, my short I made for UCB is up for some UCB Video Comedy Awards. A new award show UCB is doing to celebrate the best UCB Original Videos of the year. I JUST found out about this and I don’t know if any of the votes casted today will count for anything since ballots were supposed to be cast by yesterday I think? This honestly, really means a lot to me just being nominated. I don’t know how seriously anyone in New York is taking this, but as a person who makes things and holds the UCB in such high regard for the amount of talent they pump out of that place, for them to think a short I made was worthy of nominating in 4 different areas, blows me away. I’ve never made anything nominated for any award, so I’m really proud of this.
If you are in New York, go see the show and tell me if the Burger video wins for anything! (Especially best director, holy shit. UCB nominated me for Best Director for a weird short about a hamburger.)
I really wish I could be in New York for this. I’m proud of everyone who worked on that thing and thankful for this, really.
